So long Movember – It's been e-Mo'tional

Well, we’ve had some good times my little furry friend but now it’s time for you to go. December is here and that means Movember is well and truly over.

As you may have seen from a previous post all capable Kyan males have proudly been growing ‘taches of varying shapes and densities for Movember, the annual event in support of awareness for the Prostate Cancer Charity and mens’ health generally. As some of you may know this is of particular interest to me as I lost my dad to that dreadful disease a couple of years back, and whilst we’ve not raised a massive amount of money (yet!) the general awareness raised by taking part and explaining Movember to our patient clients has definitely been worth the effort — Plus it’s been a lot of fun!

You can see the results of our manly efforts below in the portraits that Phil took, or see them in all their gnarly detail on the Kyan Flickr page.

Don’t forget — It’s for charity, mate

If you’d like to dontate some funds to Movember and show love for our little band of moustachioed outlaws then so much the better! Please give generously :{

Actually, certain of the chaps (myself included) have become so attached (sic) to their lip-warmers that they’ve not quite managed to shave them off just yet, I guess we’ll see who’s grooming habits have been permanently altered after the weekend!

Now that our new site is live, I can finally talk about development decisions we made. The site last had a makeover in mid-2008 so what we can do has moved on quite considerably, and we’ve tried to take advantage of that where possible.
