Website redux helps achieve excellence in governance

Recently we launched a new website for the Association of Council Secretaries and Solicitors (ACSeS). ACSeS plays a leading role in developing governance arrangements in local government and works closely with other associations, Government Departments and agencies.

The site provides an online platform for the legal community to get together and collaborate. Main features of the site include a discussion forum, news blog, document library, photo gallery and aggregates of various local government news feeds.

We first built the site back in 2006 – 5 years is a long time in the web, so we took the opportunity to bring the site right up to date with a complete visual overhaul. The site also undertook a thorough update to the underlying technology, as it had been built with a very early version of Ruby on Rails.

Take a look at the site and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
