Kinesys is a technology company specialising in the design, build and installation of motion control systems for the entertainment industry. In-house facilities include hardware and software design, product design and system integration.
Kinesys felt their previous site looked out-of-date and didn’t reflect the quality of their in-house technical abilities. They turned to Kyan to provide an up-to-date system that not only looked good but let them easily add and edit their products and descriptions.
The challenge
Kinesys has a reputation for high-end technical solutions, but their site wasn’t portraying their brand in the right light. They needed a redesign that showed their products and services to clients in the right setting.
The solution
We appraised the information architecture of the existing site and recommended a revised site structure to better present Kinesys’s products. Each product links through to case studies of its use along with related products. Following on from that we designed a clean site that presents all this information in a clean and easily readable style.
The result
Kinesys now have a site design that accurately portrays their technologically advanced brand. A full content management system lets them show off their products to full extent, create a support base of documents and downloads, and get the latest news about their products out to their customers with the minimum of effort.
Managing your content
For Kinesys it was important for them to be able to administer their own products and information. As a lot of their customers use the site as a repository for support information, Kinesys needed to make sure that everything was up-to-date. We supplied Kinesys with a full content management system that let them administer every piece of dynamic content on the site.
