People Manager

We are looking for an experienced People Manager to join the team and help us with our ambitious growth plans. We recognise that one of the most important things we as a company can do is to attract, develop and retain great people.

Our people are at the heart of our success and your responsibilities will be to develop our talent acquisition strategy and our career development offering as well as helping us curate a culture to be proud of.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Learning and development

    • Work with the leadership team to design and implement a progression framework

    • Manage and support the review process

    • Implement a consistent approach to objective setting and tracking

  • Talent acquisition

    • Create a talent acquisition strategy that supports Kyan’s growth ambitions

    • Build a talent pool pipeline

    • Manage recruitment platform accounts and recruitment agency relationships

    • Keep it all GDPR compliant

  • People strategy

    • Define the HR and people strategy

    • Update the Kyan wellbeing and benefits package

  • Employee relations

    • Manage employee HR cases from start to finish and be the expert that the leadership team can refer to

    • Ensure the agency handbook is up to date and compliant

  • Operational support

    • Look at operational efficiencies

    • Consider tools and systems

    • Support finance with payroll

    • Play a key part in the creation of the Kyan culture playbook


  • The ability to build positive relationships with the wider team

  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken

  • The confidence to go out and network and build connections

  • A creative mindset and a passion for learning

  • The ability to remain positive and calm in times of pressure


The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years experience in a digital or software agency. Experience of networking, managing end-to-end recruitment processes and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. As is a financial savviness, an understanding of agency life and experience in implementing business processes.


Based on experience.
