Kyan worked with Island to build a retrieval system that changes this. An AI-powered ingestion pipeline reads their entire back-catalogue of docs straight from secure internal drives.
Rather than clunky indexing of raw text, we use vision-capable AI models to read each document slide by slide, capturing not just words, but the diagrams, frameworks and visualisations where the real strategic value lives.
Now, when Island are building a new pitch, they can ask questions across every past engagement at once and get answers back. And more than that... Full strategic plans, frameworks and refreshed strategies.
The final product plugs directly into the AI tools that the team already works in, allowing for direct queries via Claude, making the tool a part of Island's workflow.
