Well, it's been over two weeks now, and we're still buzzing. The Kyan team were delighted to bring home the trophy for 'Employer of the Year' at the prestigious Surrey Business Awards.
The night of glitz and glamour was held at Epsom Downs Racecourse, with almost 400 guests in attendance. Our category was an impressive one, with worthy competition from Ramsac (last year's winners), Something Big and Kelly's Storage.
We'll be honest here – we didn't expect to win! Each of the other finalists were truly impressive in their offerings, Kelly's Storage in particular really wowing us with their charity work in the community. So when our name was called, our table was a mix of surprise and excitement.
Our entry focused on the core areas of our business. Each area, a carefully considered part of our overal culture and employment strategy – something which we put a huge amount of thought, love and work into.
